Chad Walasek

After an eventful year working in Pakistan as part of a degree in International Development Studies, Chad began training in the Hindustani performing arts. Chad has been a tabla student for the last several years and made his debut in the Toronto Tabla Ensemble in 2007. A senior kathak dance student of Joanna de Souza, Chad is a member of Chhandam Dance Company and performed his debut solo in March 2008. He has also performed as a dancer locally and nationally with the Toronto Tabla Ensemble and teaches kathak at the M-DO and Toronto Tabla Ensemble Centre for World Music and Dance.
